Maryam Mehrabi
started working in Professor Daniel Davis laboratory since June 2007. Before that she was a postdoctoral research associate at Liverpool
University working in the field of nanobiotechnology under supervision of Dr Robert Wilson. They developed a method for DNA detection using
gold nanoparticles. She finished her PhD in biophysical and photophysical chemistry at Newcastle University under supervision of
Professor Anthony Harriman, where she studied various projects including Electron/Energy transfer in artificial photosynthetic systems; Facilitated ion
transport through supported liquid membrane, and DNA binding of a molecular sensor in the presence of Zn(II).
